整晚我都睡不着,
但别担心。
笑,是最好的药,
太阳升起时我会痊愈。
我在床上翻来覆去,
死命捂住嘴,
但笑意像捣蛋鬼,
怎么也不肯走。
我冲进厕所,笑得发抖,
希望没人听见——
然而隔壁的狗却叫了起来。
我回到床上,气还没顺,

I can't sleep at all this entire night,
but worry not.
Laughter is the best medicine,
and I’ll be healthier by sunrise.
In bed I toss and turn,
mouth clamped shut,
but giggles wriggle out
like naughty spirits.
I dash to the bathroom, trembling with laughter,
hoping none will hear—
but the neighbor’s dog starts barking.
I return, breathless,
and there you are,
puzzled, wide-eyed, waiting.
Do I really have to explain—
(another burst of cackling)
that I was just too amused
when you said:
“I have no good intentions for you.”
