The Real Problemm maybe Not That You Don't Work Hard Enough
Do you also feel you still have many things not finished when thinking at midnight, and then blame yourself for not working hard enough? Do you also feel more and more worried when you see people around you succeed, while you try your best but get no results?
In fact, the real problem may not be that you don't work hard enough, but that you expect too much that "hard work should have quick rewards". We easily use "quick results" to measure hard work, but forget that many results need time to grow slowly: When you learn words every day, though you can't talk fluently now, you are collecting more words; When you do exercise, though your weight doesn't drop fast, your body's stamina and flexibility are getting better quietly.
So, don't say your hard work is useless just because you don't see rewards at once. The real problem may just be that the time isn't right yet. Give hard work some time and give yourself some patience. You'll find that the sweat you once shed will reward you in a surprising way one day in the future.
