T-bet (TBX21): High T-bet expression induced SLECs and low expression promoted MPECs.. SLEC (short-lived effector cells, IL7Rlo/TBX21hi), MPECs (memory precursor effector cells, IL7Rhi). T exhaustion cells had a higher ratio of nuclear Eomes:T-bet than memory T cells (TMEMs) during chronic lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) infection in preclinical cancer models and in human tumors. which means T-bet supress T exhaustion, while EOMES promotes it.

2. Biology tips

2.1 Differentiation.

Bone marrow existed plenty of CD8 T effct cells, especially in paitens burndened with cancer Bone Marrow Contains Melanoma-reactive CD8+ Effector T Cells and, Compared with Peripheral Blood, Enriched Numbers of Melanoma-reactive CD8+ Memory T Cells. Actually, in homestasis, CD8Teff mainly become mature in thymus, not bone marrow.
