第一单元

This is my friend. He's very nice. We can share toys. He has big eyes, a small mouth and long arms. When we play together, he always makes me smile. We often listen to stories and help each other. Before going home, we always say goodbye and wish each other a good day.

This is my family. I have a big family. My dad and mum love me very much. I also have a brother and a sister. Sometimes we visit our grandma and grandpa. My cousins are fun, and we play together. There is a cute baby in my uncle's family. I love my family and all the people in it.

Last Sunday, Miss Li took us to the zoo. There were so many lovely animals. I like pandas best. They're so cute. The red pandas were also very adorable. We saw a tall giraffe reaching for leaves on the tree. The monkeys were jumping around quickly, looking very lively. There was a fast - running cheetah in the open area. Some students brought fish to feed the birds, and the rabbits were hopping about in their enclosures. The zoo was full of fun, and we had a great time with these amazing animals.

On the farm near our school, there are many fruit trees. There are apple trees, orange trees and grape vines. The garden on the farm is full of beautiful flowers. The sun shines brightly every day. The farmers plant new grass and take good care of the plants. They water them regularly because plants need water and air. Sometimes they give us some fresh fruits like bananas. It's a wonderful place to learn about nature.

One sunny day, I decided to draw a picture. I wanted to draw a bear by the sea. First, I used brown to colour the bear's fur. Then, for the sea, I chose blue. To make the picture more lively, I added a yellow duck swimming in the sea. I also used green for some seaweed at the bottom. Finally, I added some white clouds in the sky. It was fun making this colourful drawing.

Today is my little brother's birthday. He is five years old. At the party, there is a big cake. At eight o'clock, we start to celebrate. First, we cut the cake into pieces. Then everyone eats a piece of the delicious cake. We all have a great time.
