跟读心得日记：

1、The shape of an artefact may have been lost, but archaeologists can tell whether the pots were for, say, storage or cooking by examining the impressions on the clay, the scratches from tools(Q12); and the clay itself can reveal where the pots came from.(C20 Test1 Part2第10句)

跟读这句话时，对impression这个单词特别不理解，检查泥土的表情是什么意思呢？后来查了一下，才发现自己对impression这个单词的认识太狭窄了。impression除了表情，印象外，还有压痕，印记的意思。

2、If you're elderly, it's also good exercise for hands and wrists and helps with arthritis.(C20 Test1 Part2第16句)

elderly与elder两个词很容易混淆，因为两个都是形容词，elderly表示老年人的，而且还可以做名词，直接表示老人，上了年纪的人，而elder通常只是表示两个中年长一些的人，或年纪大一些的人，比如我的大女儿，elder daughter。

另外学到了一个日常生活中很常用但是自己以前不会的新单词，arthritis关节炎。
