跟读心得日记：

1、I found mine through a friend of my mother's, but it wasn't easy.（C17 Test1 Part3第8句）

跟读这句，我很疑惑，为什么是a friend of my mother's,而不是a friend of my mother.后来查了一下，发现这两种说法在语法上都是正确的，但是表示的意义差别很大，a friend of my mother,表示我妈妈只有一个朋友，而a friend of my mother's 则表示妈妈朋友当中的一个，与one of my mother's friends 类似。所以当我们想表示自己的一个朋友的时候，要说a friend of mine.

2、I was up most of one night helping a sheep deliver a lamb.（C17 Test1 Part3第12句）

跟读这句话，学到了 I was up 这个短语，其实就是表示我醒着，没有睡觉。我一整夜没睡，就是I was up all night.

3、It was a great feeling to see the lamb stagger to its feet and start feeding almost straightaway, and to know that it was OK.（C17 Test1 Part3第16句）

这句话中，主要有两个表达，一个是stagger to one's feet，表示摇摇晃晃或者颤颤巍巍的站起来，另外一个词straightaway表示立刻，马上，没有停留的意思。
