1、This machine is used to shape the clay into an object with circular walls or sides, such as a ball.(C20 Test1 Part2第38句)

This allows anything you've made to set permanently in shape.(C20 Test1 Part2第31句)

在这两句话中，都用到了shape一词，但是一个是动词，表示塑造，塑形的动作，另一个是名词，是其基本的意义，也就是形状。

其实shape这个词不仅可以用在陶艺等手工艺中表示塑形，还可以用在人身上甚至更广泛的意义上，表示改变，影响，或者形成什么东西，比如shape the future of the world.

另外shape还有一个固定搭配，in good shape, 表示身体健康。比如you are in good shape.相反，如果说you are out of shape. 则说明你的身体不好。
