以臍為中心，左面是東，右是西，下面是南，上是北。左為陽，右為陰，陽降，陰昇。所以在人體中陰陽之氣，以臍為中心。從“左上”嚮“左下”降，從“左下”嚮“右下”轉，從“右下”嚮“右上”昇，從“右上”嚮“左上”轉。現在經過中心的臍眼，從東北嚮西南做一斜線，再從東南嚮西北做一個斜線，左右線上的上端抵住肋骨弓，即是期門。期門與臍的中間有滑肉門。相反側，就是大巨。！

嚴格按此法指診行針，定有收獲。
